Vomiting in children is mostly caused by gastroenteritis. The cause for this is usually a virus infecting the gastrointestinal tract. Gastroenteritis is also referred to as ’stomach flu’ and it can also cause nausea and diarrhea. Normally, vomiting should not be a cause of much worry as the infections don’t last long.
